nVidia & Asus Promo 3D
For company nVidia, we created computer-generated promo advertisement movie for digital 3D cinema. All digital objects we created in application Autodesk 3DS Max 2010. Finally, was animation mastered to the DCP (Digital Cinema Package).
Jack Daniels 3D
Our company created a 3D documentary movie. The film was shot in Lynchburg (Tennessee, USA) - in the original distillery. Shooting was realized by 3D HD rig and heavy equipment (rails, cranes , etc.)

Blueforce 3D: Behind the scenes
Our company becomes a sponsor of F1 models racing competition. The Czech Blue Force team had participated in the world championship 2009 in London. For this event we had recorded a 3D stereoscopic movie document about the model manufacturing as well as abut the model construction process.
17. Congress of International Stereoscopic Union
The 17. Congress of International Stereoscopic Union took place in Gmunden, Austria. Our company GALI-3D had shown not only new 3D animated movies from our production but some new HW as well. We had shown an universal IR emitter compatible with all existing shutterglasses models. A totally new product demonstrated on this conference was an A2P converter changing active projection system to a passive one. We had shown a support for Fuji 3D camera MPO format in our DepthQ Player software too.
Shooting of a 3D music clip Phillip Maxx - 3D super show
On a big green screen we had recorder a music clip for Philip Maxx music group. The movie was recorded in full HD non-compressed format by the help of DepthQ Capture software and our DepthQ HD camera rig. In post production artificial 3D background was added to the movie after alpha keying.
3D interactive book catalogue Fragment – Autumn 2009
We had created a 3D interactive books catalogue for the publishing house Fragment. The catalogue is primary targeted on children. In a virtual scientific laboratory child can pass and exam from several scientific branches and find information about books related to each topic.
3D Virtual Reality CAVE laboratory
In 2009, we have implemented the supply and installation of equipment for high-tech scientific laboratory for the West Bohemian University in Plzeň (Faculty of Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering and Management).
Laboratory Equipment
The entire laboratory was equipped with highly sophisticated modern computers and 3D projection equipment. The laboratory has a system of virtual reality 3D CAVE-type, tracking device and a pair of workstations to control the device - equipped with 3D LCD monitors. Projection equipment consists of DepthQ InFocus projector for active stereoscopic projection.
Unique 3D technical solutions
3D projection uses special mirror, so it is rear projection. The viewer can stand before the canvas and does not interfere with the projection screen. This effect is used to tracking equipment. Tracking device allows you to track the position of an observer in space, and calculates the projected scene. The device allows you to monitor not only the position of head of the observer, but also the position of a special control device which is in user in hand. With interactive controls the viewer can enter directly into an interactive 3D virtual reality and manage it.
The contribution of 3D lab
Benefit of the classroom for students is the opportunity to see their designs factory buildings, offices, warehouses and etc. Observers design gives active device associated with tracking gives unique visual experience. Perception of interaction with the projection is so great that people are bolting a moving forklift or zaskladňují box on the shelf, as though it stood. This technique offers the opportunity to view even more realistic models planned or analyzed prior to their physical existence in the real world or the actual implementation of changes to existing sites. The laboratory is one of the most modern facilities in the Czech Republic.
s3D Today 2009
Our software engineers were invited to the international s3D Today conference (Munich, Germany). We had presented the solution for HD 3D video playback (DepthQ Player) and 3D camera recording (DepthQ Capture). The GPU accelerated data processing makes operation with up to 2x2k data at 120 fps possible.
Anifest 2009
As almost each year, we had organized the 3D stereoscopic section of the international animated movie festival AniFest 2007. This year the festival take place in two locations, so unusually our screening was done in the Teplice city.
CAVE VR system delivery
Our company had delivered a CAVE-type VR visualization system. The client was University of J. E. Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem. The system is based on three DepthQ HD projectors and ultrasonic-gyroscopic user tracking. The device is used as the main equipment of the Center for the landscape virtual reality modeling CEVRAMOK.
Forest 3D – movie for National forests Czech Republic
By the help of dual HD camera half-mirror rig we had recorded a 3D stereoscopic movie for National forests Czech Republic. DepthQ camera rig and custom DepthQ video editing tolls were used for the post-productions. The movie documents the live of wild animals as well as the destruction and renewal cycle of the forest. The target audiences are child in the 10-15 age. The movie will be primary used for educational purpose.

3D interactive book catalogue for Fragment Company
Our company had realized a 3D interactive book catalogue. The catalog works both as a game and as toll making to open and check all offered books in 3D possible. The final release was launches in form of WWW engine as well as in CD form.
GALI-3D at Anifest 2008
As usually, we had presented several animated 3D stereoscopic movies at Anifest 2008 international animated movies festival. Passive 3D projection system based on DepthQ Server software was used. This year about 1000 visitors had seen our program.

3D architectonic visualization on auto-stereoscopic monitor in full HD
For a big developer – Hochtief company we had realized a 3D stereoscopic animation of new flats. The final work was screened on an auto-stereoscopic full HD LG 3D monitor not requesting any glasses. The whole project was extremely PC power complex because for the final movie an full HD rendering from 11 views on the same scene was necessary.
Finalising of 3D motion simualtor
Our company had successfully rebuilt an old-style 3D motion simulator to a new one with full 3D stereoscopic support. We had supplied the new 3D projection system, content as well as software for synchronization with the motion movement electronic.

3D movie Born of a car for Skoda Auto
Our company had recorder a 5 minutes HD stereoscopic movie for Skoda Auto car company. The movie documents the process of car assembly – from the metal sheets to a complete new car. He movie can bee seen in Skoda Auto museum in Mladá Boleslav city.
3D robotic surgery on-line
We had resized a live 3D video transmission of a surgical operation from DaVinchi system to a conference hall. The DepthQ Server technology was used for the 3D video data processing on both sides. Standard TCP-IP link was used as the transfer line. This technology was used during 1. Congress of Czech Robotic surgery society organized by Hospimed company.

DepthQ technology - the beggining
In the year 2002 we had encoded the first version of DepthQ Server software for 3D video stereoscopic processing. The work was done for US Lightspeed Design Company.
Nowadays DepthQ Server HD is a successful commercial product used by several companies and institution like NASA, Walt Disney Imagineering , IMAX and others.
